We wanted to write up a short introduction to the Windows 7 tablet PC options available today. There are a lot of tablet computers on the market and a lot of different operating systems to choose from but tablet computers that use the Windows 7 operating system have some advantages that we would like to point out.
Of course there are the obvious advantages that all tablet PCs share regardless of the operating system they use. They are compact, lightweight and very easily portable making them great for students, business professionals and people that travel frequently. They are also a convenient and portable entertainment system allowing you to play games, listen to music or watch high-definition videos, surf the Internet, do video chats and much more. However, there also happen to be a number of benefits to owning a Windows 7 tablet PC that other tablet computers do not share.
The fact that a Windows 7 Tablet PC uses the Windows 7 operating system means that it will be very intuitive and easy to use for anyone that has been a long time user of a Windows laptop or desktop PC. You will be able to use all of the same programs you have grown accustomed to over the years and you will be able to use your tablet PC for any task that your laptop or desktop computer is able to do.
Because a tablet PC does not have a keyboard you would normally have to type on a touch screen keyboard which is not as easy as using a traditional keyboard but with a Windows 7 Tablet PC you will be able to write on the tablet with a stylus just as you would with a pen and paper and software will convert your handwriting into text that you will be able to edit with any word processor program. With Windows 7 the handwriting recognition function is faster and more accurate than it was in the past. Windows 7 ultimate edition even supports handwriting recognition in a variety of different languages.
A Windows 7 Tablet PC gives you all the benefits of other tablet PCs with the added benefit of being able to do virtually anything that you are used to doing on your other computers and sharing files between your laptop, desktop and tablet PC is simple because they all use the same operating system. The fact that you can use all of the same programs such as Microsoft Office for example makes a Windows 7 Tablet PC a great option for students and business professionals.
